The active ingredient in Flexura is Metaxalone a type of muscle relaxant, which works by blocking the nerve impulses (also known as pain signals) in the brain, thereby reducing pain and discomfort.
Flexura comes in the form of 400 mg tablets. The exact dosage required for each patient can vary. Because of this, it is necessary for each patient to consult their doctor before treatment, so that the correct dosage can be prescribed. In some cases, adult patients taking this drug have been told by their doctor to take it 3 to 4 times per day. Swallow each tablet whole, together with a glass of water, and do not exceed the prescribed dosage. If taken after a meal that is high in fat, there is a possibility that side effects may occur. For this reason, your doctor may direct you to take it on an empty stomach or after a light meal.
