Description

Cenforce FM is one of tablets knows as the “female Viagra”. It contains 100 mg of the active ingredient Sildenafil Citrate. Sildenafil citrate helps treat erectile dysfunction in men but this drug was specifically formulated as a sexual enhancer to provide sexual satisfaction for women and to help with problems of women called the Female Sexual Arousal Disorder (FSAD).

Some studies suggest that this drug helps increase sexual desire in women during sexual activity. It works by also increasing blood flow to a woman’s genitals, making the clitoris and surrounding area of the vagina sensitive to stimulation. Although the exact mechanism on how it enhances sexual desire is not yet established. Some studies also suggest that this drug also increases vaginal wetness in post-menopausal women.

One tablet of Cenforce-FM must be taken orally, as needed, 1 hour prior to sexual activity. The effect of this drug may start in about 45 minutes after taking it, and the effect may last for about 4 to 6 hours.

The dose may be adjusted, either decreased to 25 mg or increased to 100 mg, depending on efficacy and tolerability per individual. The maximum dose of Cenforce FM is 100 mg per day. It is important to note not to exceed the maximum daily dose. Consult a healthcare provider prior to making dose adjustments. Cenforce FM may be taken with or without food, but the effect might take longer if taken with food.

Individuals allergic to Cenforce FM, its active ingredient Sildenafil and all its inactive ingredients, must not take this medication. Cenforce FM  is also contraindicated to those who take nitrates in any of its form as it may increase the hypotensive effects and increase the risk of hypotension.

Common side effects may be experienced by some individuals taking this medication and usually subside after a few hours. These side effects are, but not limited to the following: headache, dizziness, diarrhea, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, flushing (redness, warmth), urinary tract infection, respiratory tract infection, rash, back pain or muscle pain.

Seek immediate medical help if an allergic reaction to this drug occurs characterized by difficulty in breathing, hives, swelling of face, lips, tongue or throat.
