Axepta 25 mg
Characteristics
Description
Axepta is used to control attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It balances levels of neurotransmitters in the brain to reduce hyperactivity and improve impulse control. This can improve focus, concentration, and fidgeting.
The prescribed dosage of Axepta will vary greatly among patients. Speak with your doctor to determine the best dosage for you based on your symptoms and current health. It is normally taken two times each day, once in the morning and once in the evening. These should be swallowed whole along with a large glass of water and can be taken with or without food. It is best to take your doses at the same times each day to get the best results.
Even though Axepta is normally well tolerated, you may experience some mild side effects. These can include dizziness, irritability, insomnia, coughing, constipation, increased menstrual cramps, loss of sex drive, or impotence. In very rare cases you may experience more serious side effects that need medical attention. Tell your doctor about any symptoms that are persistent or worry you such as signs of an allergic reaction (swelling, rash, difficulty breathing), intense nausea, reduced urination, faintness, numbness, burning sensations, abnormal thoughts, hypertension, discoloured urine or stools, or jaundice. These can require changes to your dosage to prevent more problems from appearing.
